So I was organizing some old photos last night and came across some old San Francisco photos from back in college. My brother and a couple good friends are still keeping the bay area alive. Skateboarding was thick in the hills there. I used to get so excited for a windy uninsured push around town. Transportation was strictly bus and board. Good days.
If you skate in the bay or anywhere you have seen the work of Benny Gold somewhere. Really nice type works and apparel. One of may favorites from Benny is the image above. I have been to the HUF (above) store a number of times. A little geared out and expensive for my taste but I appreciate the small boutiques that carry hard to find items.
