VACATION / R&R / HAWAII

On vacation this week. Took the week off and flew to Oahu to visit a couple good pals from VT. It's been real peaceful so far with a couple twists of debauchery. I'm trying to take the time and focus on some R & R. It's really interesting to see such a melting pot of culture here. It's much thicker than any other US city I have ever visited. You can just feel the history of it a little more. I have taken two trips by myself around the island. I drove from Honolulu all the way east along the water and wrapped around Bellows Airforce base. The water was really nice, thats what people mostly come here for. I was really intrigued by the mountains. Steep, ridged volcanic rock thats shaped through storms. Fascinating. The other trip being Pearl harbor, but we will save that for a different post.

My girlfriend Erin has been in a heavy Croquet competition with her co-workers. She told me last night she has been a little behind on the scorecard so I thought I would post a link to some croquet history to ignite some passion for the game.

The long lost game of CROQUET revealed.

The best of luck to you Erin. Poison Ball!
