The USA FREEHAND COMPETITION took place last Friday at THE NIGHTLIGHT. Base for the whole concept grew off someone taking me to the hole over my shit freehand drawing of the USA (top left hippo thinger), so I handed the pad and pen over to my table mates. I did some measuring and scaling and the winner is:
NATE BETTECKER!
This dude even started states and look at that Alaska (top right), maybe to much time in the car or just to much time in general, who knows. Congrats Nate, I promised a sixer and it will be delivered.
I think we all lost here actually, lets learn the lay of our land a bit better people. Much thanks to the DDC for creating the canvas for us pad pushers. Order some up: FIELD NOTES

BRIDGETOWN PRINTING has been rather nice to me the past few days. I got a free tour, lunch and a really cool contact over there on Swan Island. Designer / Printer relationships = hand in hand. Communication.
They offered an Adobe CS4 event today at the Portland Art Museum which I attended. Information flying fast in heavy doses, it's amazing how many ways you can skin a problem.
Thanks again Tonia.
