Nate is the host among hosts, and he started a weekly gathering of folks from around town. Friends, food and laughs are a must and there is also a weekly theme. Last week was soul food and I about didn't fit out the door when I left. This week we are hosting at my place on 17th and Brooklyn. Theme is Breakfast, Breakfast for dinner or Brinner if you will. PJ's are more than decent attire for this occasion, purely just to be cozy and have less work to do when you arrive home after a few bloodies.

Our thoughts are with Brenden today. A spleen rupturing is tough on any person. I even watched him drink beer the whole next day barely able to laugh, but hanging in there tough. Oh yeah two broken ribs too, ouch.
